| Benelli Motorbike Batteries We stock batteries for your Benelli ATV, motorbike or scooter. Whatever model of Benelli you own, we have a battery for it. Your original Benelli battery may be one of several types fitted by the manufacturer back in the factory. Factory fitted batteries are known as original equipment manufactured or OEM. Yours may be the conventional lead-acid type battery and as with all batteries, you must read first read through very carefully, the instructions. Very important if you want to get the best performance and life span from your new battery. Before fitting into your bike, the battery must be filled with acid and then fully charged. Your new battery will come with sufficient acid. If left for any length of time without being charged, even if not connected, lead-acid batteries will go through a natural process of self-discharging. If your Benelli battery has reached the stage of being deeply discharged, it is often impossible to recover, even if the battery itself is relatively new. Regular charging is the only way to ensure a long life from your battery and work against the natural process of self-discharge. Another type is the self-sealed maintenance-free batteries, which must be applied in the same way as lead-acid type but these batteries have low self-discharge and a longer service life. Then there's the Benelli factory sealed maintenance-free batteries which are safer and maintenance free. These fully sealed batteries emit no fumes. They do not need any water topping as compared to a lead-acid battery and thus eliminates any sort of maintenance. The charging time of the MF battery is much shorter compared to an ordinary battery. However they must be full charged before use, unlike the latest Quadflex batteries on the market from Motobatt that are factory activated which means, fully sealed, no acid, no water, no messing about with charging as fully charged, and zero maintenance. Not only are they more powerful, but they are even safer than other batteries as there is no liquid to spill should they ever become damaged. To see if there is one of these new type AGM batteries available for your Benelli, find the battery code which is a battery type number just in front of the dimensions for your model, copy and paste that number and click search in the advanced search box to the left of this page. IMPORTANT: Always check that the battery code & dimensions match your old battery before placing your order |
