A motorbike chain extractor & riveter makes the job of fitting a chain or removing a chain pin from an endless drive chain extremely easy. Or you could grind the two rivet heads flush with a dremel or equivalent grinder and then struggle to prise the plate off the pins. Modern chains come with a riveted master link. Do not use a clip style link on a high powered motorbike. To replace an endless chain you will need a soft link (rivet link), a chain breaker, a chain press and a chain riveter or with chain extractor and riveter tool, the separate breaker and press tools are not required. The chain extractor and riveter tool includes everything you need to break, press and rivet any motorcycle chain. Always keep your chain well lubricated in use as well as in strorage
