Please choose your Variator roller weight carefully, if you still have a standard exhaust fitted, only use the weight recommended by the manufacturer, this information is usually available from your local scooter dealer. If you have a sports exhaust fitted you usually need a lighter roller than standard, a rough guideline is - 1 1/2 to 2 grams lighter than standard roller weight, this is a good starting point, but you may have to fine tune to get optimum performance.
