Helmet Sizing:
Using a tape measure or a piece of string, measure around your head just above your eyebrows and ears. The measurement in centimetres is your nominal helmet size. Helmet linings do compress, so if your helmet is slightly tight to start with, this is quite normal.
For each helmet you will see a size such as Small, Medium and Large etc. use the table below to find which size relates to your head size.

Regulator/Rectifier Fitting.
When on test, 12 Volt Batteries should show an output of 13.2 volts. When the engine is running this would increase to between 14 and 15 volts.
Yamaha and certain Honda motorcycle’s use a three-phase type system, with a permanent magnet instead of an electromagnet, to regulate the current from the alternator.
Rather than controlling the output from the alternator, the excess voltage would be dumped by means of heat transfer.
To improve the transfer of heat from the regulator/rectifier you can use a silicone heat sink compound which is placed on the back of the regulator/rectifier and on the mounting point. Both surfaces must be clean for better contact and heat transference.
Also to improve the earth of the regulator/rectifier, a cable can be introduced on one of the mounting bolts and connected directly to the negative terminal of the battery (earth side). This would eliminate the unreliable arrangement of earth fittings that are connected to various parts of the frame or motorcycle that does not always work. This type of earth is used as standard on some Yamaha and Honda motorcycles.

Brake Discs - Fitting.
When fitting a new disc rotor, new disc pads must be fitted. Disc rotor retaining bolts must be in good condition or replaced. Bolts must be installed with Loctite at manufacture recommended torque settings. Calipers must be in good condition, if the pistons in the calipers do not retract when the brake is off, this will cause binding of the pads on the new disc rotors, and will damage the rotor.
Final check after full assembly of disc rotor, rotate the wheel with your hand, apply brakes hard, release brakes, the wheel must rotate freely. Try this several times. If at anytime the disc rotor binds with the pad in an off position, the calipers are in need of refurbishment. If the bike is driven with binding brakes it will damage the new disc rotor and pads. Also it will overheat your brake fluid, causing the brake fluid to expand and increase the pad pressure onto the disc rotor, causing discoloration, warping and damage to your disc rotor.
