The Honda CBF250 is excellent
value, it’s a great little motorcycle and very competent. With its low insurance
group, large fuel tank and small running costs, the Honda CBF250 is a good
choice. Honda CBF250 took over from Honda’s twin cylinder CB Two Fifty.
10 years after its debut, the CB500 was long overdue a major freshening up. Not
just in style and looks, but in concept. What was called for was a more modern
and distinctively European look and feel. The CBF500 is a bike that
combines an easy reach to the ground when at stop, light, responsive handling
not only at speed but in the hustle and bustle of urban traffic conditions, and
a predictable power delivery that never gets out of hand.
Using the same 499cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin that powered the 1994 CB500,
the sleek new CBF500 sets the standard in its class for easily accessible riding
fun and excitement.
The CBF600 uses the same engine as the CB600F (Hornet) and CBR600, the
other members of the CB family. The engine is however, detuned (76bhp) to keep
it within its market.
The CBF600N is a middleweight motorcycle made by Honda, and is the 'naked'
version of the CBF600S.
The Honda CBF1000 is a touring sports model motorcycle with a
water-cooled, 4-stroke, inline 4 cylinder, 1000 cc engine based on the Honda
CBR1000RR engine.
First available from March 2006 to mainly the European market, the machine has
both CBF’s development team concentrated on finding ways to maximise its value
as a machine that could be used on a daily basis. Although peak power and torque
figures are significantly lower than the CBR1000RR Fireblade on which it is
based, power and torque come on much sooner and lower in the rev range. This
gives the CBF1000 "usable" power, something that is lacking in many machines
with even larger displacement engines.
The CBF1000 also features an adjustable seat, adjustable handlebars, and a
combined half-fairing with adjustable screen height. |
