An ignition coil also known as a spark coil, transforms the battery's 6 volts or 12 volts intto the thousands of volts needed to produce a spark at the spark plugs. A faulty ignition coil is one of the common reasons for a lack of spark. We stock ignition coils for almost every ATV, motorcycle and scooter ever made. Some of the coils are made in Japan but most are now sourced from China or Taiwan because of the cost savings. Nowadays there is little if any difference in performance from these cheaper coils and they will last as long as and perform as well as the genuine original factory fitted coils.
